Admissions Process

You may register your child with us at any time although we recommend that you do so as early as possible.

Once we have received your application form and administration fee we will place your child on our waiting list and send you an acknowledgement letter Please give us a call to request an application form. Our contact details can be found here.

Our waiting list is arranged in academic year groups (birthdays from September to August each year) and your child will be placed on the relevant list for their age using the criteria below.

Chestnuts offers children a minimum of 3 sessions per week (if available) to start with as we feel that this aids the children’s settling in process. We offer 15 hours and 30 hours depending on availability and eligibility over a variety of sessions. We are unable to guarantee specific sessions but will try to accommodate parental requests wherever possible. Applications received after 31st March in the year your child is due to start will be classed as a late application (Section F below).
